Organised jointly by the European network of territorial intelligence, ENTI, and the Relais Emploi de Strasbourg, the ninth international conference of territorial intelligence intends to be a place for sharing, production and dissemination of knowledge around the concept of ecological and social innovation.
Integrate devices that are truly innovative, from both ecological and social views, could be an essential lever for Europeans in order to succeed in the socio-ecological transition that becomes self-evident.
Inscribed in the continuity of international conferences of territorial intelligence (you will find blogs such conferences in the links section of the left column), the Strasbourg conference is both multidisciplinary and multisectoral: deeply committed to the principles of action research, it brings around the same tables academic researchers working in the fields of territorial intelligence, bringing their scientific methodologies and conceptual or technologic tools, and the actors of the territories, from political, associative and private sectors, engaged in projects and experiments environmentally and socially innovative.
After the opening speeches, the invited conferences we have the pleasure to welcome open to question the ecological and social innovation.
The papers presented in the conference workshops and the posters were selected by the Scientific Committee for their relevance to three topics proposed in the call for papers and will be grouped in a scientific publication.
These presentations will stimulate discussions at the roundtables organized on the same three themes:
A – Theoretical reflections about the ecological and social innovation, and about the integrated innovation, in the socio-ecological transition
B – Analysis of concrete experiences of ecological and social innovation and of integrated innovation
C – Recommendations for governance supporting ecological and social innovation and for integrated innovation.
