The role of population in territorial dynamics: elements for thought.

Le rôle de la population dans la dynamique territoriale : éléments pour la réflexion.

El papel de la población en las dinámicas territoriales: elementos para la reflexión.

This paper reflects on the role of population in the construction of territorial development based on the assessment of the aptitudes of that population. Studies of capital social as well as territorial identity lead today to analyze the non economical factors on the construction of territorial networks of knowledge and therefore they allow advancing from assisted territories to innovation ones.
