Brière Park, created in 1970, is one of the first regional natural parks of France. By promoting “sustainable development” of its territory, it emerged as an alternative way of development.
For example the exploitation of renewable energies such as organic mud and reed is proving to be an original solution and economically sustainable. Moreover it is home to 60% of the cottages of France.
Ballade in barge on the swamp and carriage ride off the beaten path with a local guide who introduced fauna and flora of the swamp.
