Stéphane Hessel has died at the age of 95. Grand resistant, escaped from Nazi extermination camps, co-editor of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, he wrote in 2010 the manifesto "Indignez you !" which has been published worldwide with the movement of the "Indignés ". As a tribute, I offer the following excerpt from the book "Le chemin de l’espérance (The Way of Hope)", which he published in 2011 with E. Morin.

Our website is resumed after a series of problems that not permit to feed regularly. We must now consider its revision. At first we reorganized it to be able to feed regularly.
At the beginning of 2013, our researches turned to the socio-ecological transition and the resilience to the territories.
A first international conference will be held on 30 and 31 May 2013, in Besançon and Dijon (France). It offers a concrete reflection on the agendas of socio-ecological transition and on observation of territorial resilience.
INTI will be present from 9 to 13 April 2013 at the annual conference of the Association of American Geographers, in Los Angeles, US, to animate with the Metropolitain Observatory of Mexico a session "Territorial Intelligence: Exploring Theorical Approaches, Methods and Applications".
Our annual conference will be held from September 18 to 20, 2013 in Huelva, Spain, on "Territorial Intelligence, participative governance and common goods".
GDRI INTI « International Network of Territorial Intelligence » is a scientific cooperative network, which meets seven research teams belonging at five countries :
France (MSHE, ThéMA, ESO), Spain (C3IT-OLE), Belgium (SEGEFA), Italy (DISUFF) et Argentina (TAG).
Its objective is to integrate at the international scale the research about territorial intelligence, as the collective intelligence developed by a local community to ensure a transition to sustainable development.
GDRI INTI continues, from january 2011 to december 2014, the integration process started at the European scale by the coordination action of the European Network of Territorial Intelligence within the Sixth Framework European Programme of Research and Technological Development (caENTI, march 2006-february 2009).
