Welcome on the website of Territorial Intelligence, which wants to be the tool for dissemination of the Coordination Action of the European Network of Territorial Intelligence to the service of the actors of the territorial intelligence.
Funded by the European Union, the caENTI action starts on March, the 1st, 2006, for three years, until February the 28, 2009. It gathers 8 universities and research centers in territorial intelligence, and 7 actors of the sustainable territorial development. It has been the fruit of many research-action activities that were carried out in Europe for more than fifteen years.
The caENTI punctuates a succession of research projects aiming at developing knowledge and tools of territorial intelligence. Its ambition is to establish a project of Network of excellence in 2009.
This website publishes as of today a first set of information. It will be gradually enriched, initially by increasing the share of information between the participants of the caENTI, then by making the projection of their collaboration and by widening the exchanges with the actors of territorial intelligence. In a month, it will offer the cooperative work and management tools to the participants of the CAENTI. The Internet web site will be the base of a dialogue between the researchers and the agencies in territorial intelligence whixh strarting point is the achieved work.
The caENTI consortium will meet on March, the 23 and 24 2006 for the kick off meeting.
From September the 20 to September the 22, it will organize a first International Conference of Territorial Intelligence in Alba Iulia in Romania, that will be opened to any interested person.
