The month of February is the caENTI last one.
We have now initiated the caENTI last step, which is the drafting of the final report.
During a first coordination seminar in Huelva from January, 25th to 28th, the leaders of the three caENTI scientific "work packages" -tools, methods and governance- and of their research groups worked on the evaluation of the scientific reports situation and of the progress state of the final report. It allowed definitely sharing the tasks linked to the final drafting of the different documents and of the final report parts.
The main conclusions were debated and articulated. We made a first version of the communications for the dissemination seminar planned on February 26th 2009 in Brussels. It summarizes these conclusions and will allow better articulating them and deepening them, by using the intra-consortium space of the portal.
The next seminar where the work packages leaders will meet will take place from February 16th to 18th in order to finish writing the final report.
The scientific work packages leaders also constituted a first board (that is presently widening) of the foreshadowing project of the network of excellence in territorial intelligence. They will firstly guarantee the articulation between the caENTI results and the scientific programme of the future network of excellence.
This board has already an important working programme. It will organise the additional activities –portal, master and journal-. It will prepare a calendar of the scientific events, for example a meeting of official launching of the network at the beginning of June in Strasbourg, the seventh international conference of territorial intelligence from November, the 4th to the 7th in Salerno (Italy) and a symposium paired to study days addressed to actors, in Brittany, in Decembre 2009 or in January 2010. It will formalise the international cooperations that were born with Quebec and the South American network territorios-possibles. It should also implement a council that will be constituted by partners of the network of excellence.
