Call for paper : Local Governance and Territorial intelligence...

The international conference "Local Governance and Territorial Intelligence Confronting Development Patterns will be held in Fisciano (Italy) on the 12th and the 13th of October 2010. This event is organized by the University of Salerno in association with ENTI in the framework of Research Group of Territorial Intelligence. The call for paper is already available.

"How can territorial intelligence help a harmonic combination of sustainable and durable development objectives?
How can it help to solve the real tensions between sustainable development objectives and promote their convergence?
Could territory, which always pays the costs of economic and social political strategies, contribute to overcome any contradictions and define the centrality of a wellness both for an individual and for everybody?
Does territorial intelligence represent and promote any resources for the socio‐economic development?
The Conference is focused on these questions and intends to give voice to some consolidated experiences of experimentation, applying governance strategies, exalted by territorial intelligence, that is by an intelligence which describes and defines territorial identity."
The dead line for the call for paper is set to the 20th of july 2010.
