A forum for the actors in education to the environment
Planet'ERE 4: "Reconcile with nature - to educate in the biodiversity and in interculturalism, the same challenge in the fight against climate change"
After Montreal (Canada) in 1997, Paris (France) in 2001 and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) in 2005, the french-speaking forum of actors in environmental education will be held in Yaounde - Cameroon - from 19 to 27 July 2010. It is possible to make a submission untill May 7, 2010.
Created by the International Organization Planèt'ERE, this forum aims to:
- Continue promoting education on the environment to make it accessible and sustainable to all segments of our societies.
- Make the development of innovative practices and projects for biodiversity protection and make them available to all citizens;
- Strengthen dialogue between the various actors working in education on the environment in all countries, both nationally and internationally;
- Promote practices eco-citizens to fight against the emission of greenhouse gases, the main cause of global warming, and their devastating consequences;
- Take people to be part of the future of their territory;
- Sensitize decision makers on the importance of integrating environmental education in basic education in all countries;
- Strengthen and expand the network of French actors working in education on the environment and provide a permanent platform for exchange;
- Develop a french-speaking strategy on environment education
