GDRI-INTI International Research Group "International Network of Territorial Intelligence"
GDRI-INTI, International Research Group “International Network of Territorial Intelligence” started January 1, 2011, for four years, at the end of an international scientific evaluation organized by the CNRS. It gathers seven research teams from five countries: MSHE, ThéMA and ESO (France), OLE (France), SEGEFA (Belgium), DISUFF (Italia) and TAG (Argentina).
Its main aim is the consolidation of the integration of European researches in Territorial Intelligence in order to give them an international dimension.
The next scientific events of ENTI, in Pecs, Marne-la-Vallée, Liège and Gatineau will be the opportunity to restructure the research project of ENTI by deepening the work plan of new-LiFE.
GDRI-INTI gathers seven research teams from 5 countries (France, Spain, Belgium, Italia and Argentina):
- MSHE, Maison des Sciences de l’Homme et de l’Environnement Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, Unité de Service et de Recherche (USR) 3124 du CNRS, of the Université de Franche-Comté (UFC) of the Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM), France
- ThéMA, laboratory “Théoriser et Modéliser pour Aménager”, research unit (UMR 6049) of the CNRS, the UFC and the Université de Bourgogne (UB), France
- RESO, laboratory “Espaces et SOciétés” of Rennes, member of the UMR ESO (6590) of the CNRS and the Université de Rennes 2 Haute Bretagne (UEB), France
- OLE, “Observatorio Local de Empleo”, of the Universidad de Huelva (UHU), Spain
- SEGEFA, “Service d'Étude en Géographie Économique Fondamentale et Appliquée”, of the Université de Liège (ULG) and the “Fonds de la recherche Scientifique” (FNRS), Belgium
- DISUFF, “Dipartimento di Scienze Umane, Filosofiche e della Formazione” of the Università di Salerno (UNISA), Italia
- TAG, team “territorio Actores Gobernanza”, of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) and the “Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cientificas y Tecnicas”(CONICET), Argentina.
These teams are part of the most active (respecting the criteria for program eligibility) of ENTI, European Network of Territorial Intelligence. The GDRI action is a continuation of:
- the dissemination in Europe since 1989 of Catalyse territorial observatories in the frame of collaborative projects between sustainable development actors with the assistance of local universities,
- caENTI, coordination action of European Network of Territorial Intelligence of the European Union’s 6th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development , from Februar 2006 to March 2009,
- ENTI, European Network of Territorial Intelligence, which held with 39 participants the new-LiFE project, concerning the socio-ecological transition toward sustainable development in Europe in the frame of the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development.
GDRI-INTI has two aims:
- to consolidate the integration of European researches in Territorial Intelligence in order to give them an international dimension at the end of 2014.
- to promote the constitution of multidisciplinary local teams of action-research collaborating within sustainable development projects.
GDRI-INTI members are currently restructuring the research project of ENTI based on the initial project (filed April 2010) and the work plan of new-LiFE project (filed February 2011) while deepening it. They are also rebuilding the bodies of management and dissemination of the network based on a sound interaction between researchers, actors and citizens.
Following the conferences of Salerno (Italia, November 2009), Nantes-Rennes (France, March 2010) and Strasbourg (France, November 2010), there is an opportunity to enrich the research programme of ENTI with reflections from the projects “job-LiFE” and “new-LiFE”.
The seminar of Pecs (Hungary), from 2nd to 4th of next June, with a day dedicated to ENTI the 2nd of June, will be the framework for discussion on the evolution of the research project of INTI before the conference of Liege (Belgium), 2011, from 12th to 14th of September, with the INTI day the 12th of September. The summer days of Marne-la-Vallée (France), 7th and 8th of next July, will be a friendly opportunity to deepen reflection on the fundamental concept of socio-ecological transition toward sustainable development. The conference of Gatineau (Canada), from 12th to 14th of October, will present the first results of INTI.
Meanwhile, this website and the ENTI space are the basis of permanent virtual network that links the teams of GDRI-INTI and already the ENTI Network.
