ISSP team has a strong connection with the international academic community. Many of its research associates are acting members of the academic associations and regularly attend conferences around the world. In particular, Professor Wang is currently a Fulbright visiting scholar to the Institute of East Asian Studies at the University of California-Berkeley. Professor Tsay was a visiting scholar to the Heinz School of Public Administration and Management, Carnegie-Mellon University in 1999-2000.
Professor Liu visited the University of Southern California and has just finished a two-months visit in the University of Franche-Comtée in France in the spring of 2005. Few years ago, Professor Leu visited Pittsburgh University. Professor Shiang taught in California State University before he joined the faculty of Tunghai University.
