Specific contributions to the CAENTI

IASS can participate to CAENTI so as:
- to promote methods and tools created within the framework of two programs in progress: Proteus and ArchaeDyn projects. Proteus project focuses on the development of high-resolution resources for the modelling in spatial archaeology (2004-2005), MSH Ledoux – ZRCSAZU, supported by the French and Slovenian Ministries of Foreign Affairs. ArchaeDyn project is about the spatial dynamic of settlement and natural resources: towards an integrated long term analysis, from prehistory to middle ages (2005-2007), coordination laboratory of Chrono-Ecologie (UMR 6565, CNRS) supported by the French Ministry of Research (ACI Espaces et Territoires).
- to diffuse specific application and data development in the field of remote sensing and DEM production for pluridisciplinary topics.
- to share experience of interactive on-line mapping (internet GIS); design and development of sites, unification of databases and of their metadata, external organizations, best practices in interactive mapping and cartography)
