Means by which it can participate in the dissemination of the knowledge and of the results of the CAENTI project

ZRC publishing:

• ZRC series: Founded in 1994 and mainly intended to publish scientific monographs in the fields of humanities and natural sciences.
• Opera Instituti Archaeologici Sloveniae Series: Selection of monographic and scientific papers presenting the results of research off the fields of archaeology, epigraphy and ancient history. The goal is, essentially, to present each individual archaeological site or archaeological theme, linked to the whole southeastern alpine region and the western Balkans. These works have an archeological nature and will be used, in this perspective, by an Institute of ZRCSAZU.
• Tools on-line: Interactive Map of Slovenia http://gis.zrc-sazu.si/
• A ZRCSAZU Internet GIS-Server is being established. It aims to efficiently present those databases and research works within ZRCSAZU, whose common nature is informative, useful and educational. The server will also enable easier exchanges and use of spatial data among institutes within ZRCSAZU and with external organizations, the unification of databases and of their metadata, the necessary support for interactive mapping and cartography etc. The first public implementation of an Internet GIS-Server is an Interactive Map of Slovenia Displaying Databases of ZRCSAZU which has been developed. It enables simple display and identification of spatial data.
