Valdocco has vast experience in terms of European projects:
- Poverty III Program developed in the nineties in association with Huelva Town Council. Valdocco was part of the “ Marismas del Odiel” board.
- Members of Social Policy National Policy, transferring best practices and partnership experiences of European networks.
- Starting and animating the “Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion Andalusian Network” (Red Andaluza de Lucha Contra la Pobreza y Exclusión Social). Valdocco is part of the Board a local, regional, national and European levels.
- Member of the TASC Network (Territorial Action for Social Cohesion) during the 1996-1999 periods.
- Social and Occupational Integration project within the NOW framework.
- Managing projects related to social and occupational promotion in urban areas.
- Actions design and management within the Urban in Action framework.
- Management of Information, orientation, training, vocational training and other actions in association with the Tourism and Local Development area of the Provincial Government; focused on Social and Occupational Integration within the European Initiatives and Funds (URBAN, Structural Funds and YOUTHSTART).
In addition to this, Valdocco is integrated in several networks at all levels (local, provincial, regional, national and European) working for education, training, employment, children, drug addiction, prisoners and ex-prisoners, social services and voluntary work. Since 2001 Valdocco has also been working in measures of malefactor children freedom watching and International Cooperation with the North of Morocco.
Regarding to social exclusion and preferential action areas we are working in “A Europe for all”, European Call for preventing and combating social exclusion (VP/2000/008). They are partners together with the Provincial government participating in the Provincial Technical Workshop and the I International Forum of Social Exclusion. Also, Valdocco has been working in Emplea Huelva project within the frame of “Local Strategies for Employment and Innovation” (Art. 6 of the European Social Fund).
