Association of friends and parents of mental disabled persons
Affiliation: UNAPEI (Union Nationale des Associations de Parents et Amis de Personnes Handicapées mentales), URAPEI (Union Régionale), UDAPEI (Union Départementale), ADAPEI de BESANÇON, composed by parents and friends of mentally disabled persons.
ADAPEI de BESANÇON: 20 establishments organized in five sectors (childhood, protected work, lodging, reception of life, services in "ordinary context" ); 1 100 recipients; 520 professionals; 230 members.
Aims of the association
- Implement all means to improve the moral, physical, and intellectual development of intellectual disabled persons
- Promote and manage essential establishments and services for their blooming (education, training, lodging, social and professional integration, leisure)
- Defend their moral, material and financial interests
- Promote any action in their interest
- Establish at the local level the necessary connections with the organizations working in their favor.
Subjects of interest
- Complementary services based upon the horizontal competences
- Network of establishments, internal services and external partners complying with the ISO9001 certification.
